Heritage Valley Tree Farm is proud to offer choose and cut Canaan Fir Christmas trees as well as White Pine, Norway Spruce and Virginia Pine. ​Also available are pre-cut Fraser Firs, considered by some as America's most popular Christmas tree.

CHRISTMAS TREE VARIETIES

Choose and cut a Christmas tree from our fields or select a pre-cut tree from our nearby farm lot.

CANAAN FIR

CHOOSE AND CUT
Short, soft, dark bluish-green 1/2 to 3/4 inch needles with silvery underside. Similar to Fraser Fir. Good needle retention and aroma.

SIZE RANGE and PRICE:

5 to 6-1/2 feet tall - $9.50/foot
Very limited supply as of 12/2/19.

WHITE PINE

CHOOSE AND CUT
Long, soft, flexible bluish-green 2 to 5 inches needles. Delicate, fluffy appearance with flexible branches more suitable for lightweight ornaments. This tree has good needle retention and because it has minimal fragrance, it's a good choice for sensitive noses.

SIZE RANGE and PRICE:
5 to 9 feet tall - $8.00/foot
10 to 12 feet tall - $10.00/foot

NORWAY SPRUCE

CHOOSE AND CUT
Dark green ½ to 1 inch sharp pointed needles. Its strong branches make it a perfect choice for heavy ornaments. Norway Spruces give off a pleasant but mild scent.
Because needle retention for a cut Norway Spruce is fair, our Norway Spruce should ONLY be harvested after December 1st.

5 to 7 feet tall - $9.00/foot

VIRGINIA PINE

CHOOSE AND CUT
1½ to 3 inch needles with dense foliage and stout branches. Good needle retention and pleasant pine fragrance.

SIZE RANGE and PRICE:
5 to 6-1/2 feet tall - $8.00/foot

FRASER FIR

PRE-CUT
Short, dark green 1/2 to 1 inch needles with silvery underside. Strong slightly upright branches make it an ideal choice for heavy ornaments. Excellent needle retention and aroma.

This popular Christmas tree species, which doesn't grow in Missouri, is selected from a premium-quality Michigan tree grower.

SIZE RANGE and PRICE:
7 to 10 feet tall  - $10.50/foot

TREE FARM TIPS

  • For your convenience, all of our Christmas trees are tagged with their height and price.​
  • Saws are provided as well as:
    • ​​Tree shaking to remove old needles and debris
    • Tree drilling for peg-style tree stands
    • Netting of trees for easier handling
  • Tree carts and sleds are on hand for pulling your tree back from the field.​
  • Decorated fir wreaths in a variety sizes are available, as well as combination greenery bundles.
